A warm welcome to our website which we hope you will find informative, helpful and encouraging.

Rathgar Methodist Church is situated in a richly ecumenical part of south Dublin and has been serving the community here since 1874. We are situated at the junction of Brighton Road and Garville Avenue, within easy reach of Harold’s Cross, Terenure and Rathmines.

We are always delighted to welcome visitors, whether to our 11.30am service on Sunday morning or to any of our weekly activities or special events, details of which you can find by following the links provided.

For further information, please contact our minister, Rev. Vanessa Wyse Jackson at 4974674 or at [email protected] who will be happy to help you.

Sincere thanks to Stefano Messori for providing invaluable support in establishing this website, along with his team of developers in Italy - the world is getting smaller! Please click here to find out more about Stefano and how he can help build social responsibility into your business strategy.

Not Only in Lent Lord, by Cecily Taylor

Help me to fast from unkind thoughts,
from words much better left unsaid
and judgements made from lack of love hidden resentments may have fed.
Nourish me, Lord; with every breath
may I drink in your love and light,
To taste and know the growing peace
Which brings a different appetite.
