Rathgar Methodist Church is situated in a richly ecumenical part of south Dublin and has been serving the community here since 1874. We are situated at the junction of Brighton Road and Garville Avenue, within easy reach of Harold’s Cross, Terenure and Rathmines.

We are always delighted to welcome visitors, whether to our 11.30am service on Sunday morning or to any of our weekly activities or special events, details of which you can find by following the links provided.

Our next Congregational Meeting
This will take place after our morning service on Sunday 28st May and will be followed by lunch in the hall. Please make a very special effort to stay on as we bring everyone up to date on our church’s various activities and spend time together over lunch.

Our new MCI President

Rev. Dr. Laurence Graham, the current incumbent in Dublin Central Mission and the incoming President of the Methodist Church in Ireland, is being commissioned at a special service on Sunday 28th May 2017 in DCM, Abbey Street at 2:30 pm.

The Coffee Dock is situated in the foyer of the church and is open three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, selling coffees, teas, biscuits and crafts created by our friends in Phakamisa in South Africa, from 10.30am.
