Welcome to Rathgar Methodist Church in Dublin!

What one generation tolerates, the next generation will embrace. (John Wesley)

Rathgar Methodist church was established in 1874 and has been serving God in South City Dublin for 145 years.  First of all, our church is deeply rooted in the love of Christ.  Our mission is to create life changing worship and provide fellowship opportunities for people of all ages.  We strive to build relationships beyond the walls of our church.

We are always delighted to welcome newcomers and visitors.  We are situated at the junction of Brighton Road and Garville Avenue, within easy reach of Harold's Cross, Terenure and Rathmines.

For further information, please contact our minister, Rev. Yongnam Park at [email protected] who will be ready to help.

May the God whose power breaks through the stone
Break into your life and free you from all that binds you.
May the risen Christ whose love is stronger than death
speak your name and bring you new life and joy.
May the Spirit who walks the road with you
give you wisdom to understand and courage to share
God's new life for the whole world.

The President Rev. Sam McGuffin will visit and give us his preaching on 20th October.  Please come and celebrate this special worship with the President. It will be a good time to have him with us. He encourages us that every Methodist in every Methodist Church across the Connexion is living close to the Lord, prioritising the Lord’s will and patiently working hard in the Lord.
