A warm welcome to our website which we hope you will find informative, helpful and encouraging.

Rathgar Methodist Church is situated in a richly ecumenical part of south Dublin and has been serving the community here since 1874. We are situated at the junction of Brighton Road and Garville Avenue, within easy reach of Harold’s Cross, Terenure and Rathmines.

We are always delighted to welcome visitors, whether to our 11.30am service on Sunday morning or to any of our weekly activities or special events, details of which you can find by following the links provided.

For further information, please contact our minister, Rev. Vanessa Wyse Jackson at 4974674 or at [email protected] who will be happy to help you.

Sincere thanks to Stefano Messori for providing invaluable support in establishing this website, along with his team of developers in Italy - the world is getting smaller! As always, there will be a collection box and poppies in the foyer on 5th and 12th November for those who would like to support the ongoing work of the Royal British Legion (Republic of Ireland).

At the end of November, you will see a small Christmas tree in the foyer with gift tags on it. Each of these tags describes the situation of a particular family, child or young person currently in the care of the Salvation Army. If you would like to be involved in this, please take one of these tags and attach it to a Christmas gift to match the circumstances described. These gifts can be brought along to our Family Carol Service on Sunday 17th December and will be distributed afterwards in time for Christmas.
