A warm welcome to our website which we hope you will find informative, helpful and encouraging.

Rathgar Methodist Church is situated in a richly ecumenical part of south Dublin and has been serving the community here since 1874. We are situated at the junction of Brighton Road and Garville Avenue, within easy reach of Harold’s Cross, Terenure and Rathmines.

We are always delighted to welcome visitors, whether to our 11.30am service on Sunday morning or to any of our weekly activities or special events, details of which you can find by following the links provided.

For further information, please contact our minister, Rev. Vanessa Wyse Jackson at 4974674 or at [email protected] who will be happy to help you.

Sincere thanks to Stefano Messori for providing invaluable support in establishing this website, along with his team of developers in Italy - the world is getting smaller! We will be hostng our Spring Book Sale from Monday 5th February to Friday 9th February (inclusive) in the foyer of Rathgar Methodist Church.  The event is open from 10:30am to noon each day and refreshments will be served all morning.  Please do come along to support us and maybe pick up a bargain!

Lord Jesus Christ, like the wise men following your birth, teach us to search for you until we come to faith, and then to go on searching just as eagerly and wholeheartedly to discover more of your will and purpose for our lives. Throughout this coming year, continue to surprise us with the wonder of your love and the awesomeness of your grace, so that we may know you and love you better each day, to the glory of your name. AMEN
