Welcome

A warm welcome to our new website which we hope you will find helpful and encouraging.

Rathgar Methodist Church is situated in a richly ecumenical part of south Dublin and has been serving the community here since 1874. We are situated at the junction of Brighton Road and Garville Avenue, within easy reach of Harold’s Cross, Terenure and Rathmines.

We are always delighted to welcome visitors, whether to our 11.30 am service on Sunday morning or to any of our weekly activities or special events, details of which you can find by following the links provided.

For further information, please contact our minister, Rev. Vanessa Wyse Jackson at 4974674 or at [email protected] who will be happy to help you.

CHRISTMAS BREAKFAST AND ART EXHIBITION

Our annual Christmas Breakfast and Art Exhibition is taking place over the weekend of 9th/10th December. The paintings will be on display on both days in the hall and the Breakfast will run from 8.30 – 11.30 am on the Saturday. A wonderful way to get into the Christmas spirit!

A PRAYER FOR CHRISTMAS

Teach us, Lord, to put you at the centre of Christmas so that it may transform our lives; the things we do, the way we think, the people we are, the church we long to be – each touched by your presence and made new by your love. AMEN
