A warm welcome to our new website which we hope you will find helpful and encouraging.


Rathgar Methodist Church is situated in a richly ecumenical part of south Dublin and has been serving the community here since 1874. We are situated at the junction of Brighton Road and Garville Avenue, within easy reach of Harold’s Cross, Terenure and Rathmines.

We are always delighted to welcome visitors, whether to our 11.30 am service on Sunday morning or to any of our weekly activities or special events, details of which you can find by following the links provided.

MWI ACTIVITIES ON THE CIRCUIT

The next meeting of Centenary MWI will be on Tuesday, October 3rd at 7.30 pm in Room 1 of Wesley House, when Wanda Hogan, the current World Federation Helen Kim scholar, will be the speaker.    On Monday 9th October, the Rathgar MWI will be meeting in the foyer at 10.45 am for a morning of conversation, coffee and card making.

FRUITFULNESS ON THE FRONTLINE

An eight-session series for small groups (film and discussion format) produced by the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity will be held In Room 1, Wesley House, Methodist Centenary Church from Wednesday 4th October 2017, from 8:00 pm - 9.45 pm.

The Coffee Dock is situated in the foyer of the church and is open three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, selling coffees, teas, biscuits and crafts created by our friends in Phakamisa in South Africa, from 10.30am. David Holmes is interested in hearing from any small groups who are interested in using the Coffee Dock as a meeting place for their activities on Mondays, Wednesdays or Friday mornings  from 10.30am-12.00pm. Please contact him on 087-2449181.
