M.W.I.

Rathgar MWI Dec2012MWI (Methodist Women in Ireland) exists

  • to enable members through fellowship with each other to deepen their personal commitment to Jesus Christ;
  • to relate the teaching of Jesus Christ to life in the home, the church, the community and the world;
  • to share in the mission of the World Church;
  • to provide a link with the women of other churches in Ireland and throughout the World.

The first meeting of the MWI in Ireland was held in Rathgar, for Ireland, over 100 years ago!

The Rathgar branch meet once a month (2nd Tuesday) from September through to April each year with a summer outing in May.

We meet in the Church Parlour, usually at 2.30 - 4 pm approx (unless otherwise stated) - this is an opportunity for us women to meet in fellowship, ending the event with a good cup of tea! So ladies please come along!

There are a variety of activities ranging from talks to crafts to demonstrations. Please contact Ann Hagan to find out about events/topics for the next year October 2014-May 2015.

 Membership is €5.

For membership or other enquiries, contact Anne Hagan (01) 2983115 or by email at amtraftery@gmail.com.
